Holistic Healing Essentials - Flower Essence Therapy

About Holistic Healing Essentials

Elizabeth Tisdel

I have formally studied, practiced and taught in the holistic healing field since 1972. Through Holistic Healing Essentials (formerly Intercessions), I have worked with hundreds of clients around the world, assisting them with intuitive and vibrational healing, and with soul retrieval. One of my greatest joys is teaching this work to others in courses and workshops.

After living in California, the Midwestern United States, the Netherlands and India, I moved to Taos, New Mexico in 1996. I am attracted to this beautiful town in the Southwestern United States by its multicultural friendliness, pure healing energy and abundance of artists.

In 2004, I migrated over the mountain to Las Vegas (a pastoral university town in New Mexico - not the city in Nevada) to attend graduate school in professional and school counseling, public affairs/sociology and education. I am involved in community theater and the American Association of University Women (AAUW).

After way too many years in mainstream graduate school, I am excited to return full-time to my holistic healing practice. Graduate school will continue with a distance PhD program in Holistic Health and Spiritual Care through the American Institute of Holistic Theology (AIHT), where I get to do extremely cool things like grow and prepare herbs for Herbology class.

I now bring to this healing practice deepened counseling and art therapy skills, and a continued dedication to integrating holistic and mainstream thinking and practice.

Education
Mainstream

I have a MA in Counseling, with a Jungian art therapy focus. A second MA, this time in Public Affairs - Applied Sociology, will be finished by the end of 2010.

As an undergraduate, I completed my BFA studio work in portrait sculpture as part of a teacher-student line from the great French sculptor, Auguste Rodin, of "The Thinker" fame. I also have certifications in peace studies and conflict mediation.

Holistic Healing

In addition to teaching meditation and working as an Ayurvedic practitioner in the United States, the Netherlands and India beginning in 1972, I studied with several teachers over the years to learn skills within the fields of vibrational, energy, distance, intuitive, spiritual and trauma healing. I support clients' growth with flower essence therapy, chakra balancing, Akashic Record soul readings, intuitive and distance healing, and a unique, comprehensive approach to soul retrieval for trauma treatment.

I am happy to be accepted into the PhD program in Holistic Health & Spiritual Care with the American Institute of Holistic Theology www.aiht.edu and will start distance courses soon. This course of study will certify my healing modalities at the PhD level, as few of my prior teachers certified students years ago.

As always, I continue to be a life-long learner, committed to the joy of learning and to offering clients more avenues for healing.

Holistic Healing Essentials

Holistic Healing Essentials supports individual, world and Earth healing. We work to heal systems as a whole at their core.

For individuals, we address mind, body, soul and emotions. For world systems, we support the healing of societal issues, promoting health, freedom, equity and peace. For Earth systems, we work for environmental stability and sustainability.

We address healing at the fundamental levels of soul, consciousness, chakras and subtle bodies. These subtle systems underlie and nourish life, functioning like blueprints for life in physical form.

Awareness grows as underlying systems are cleared of obstacles, repaired, protected and enlivened. As we grow in understanding and love, our inner wholeness creates outer wholeness.

Individual, societal and Earth systems move toward balance as we work to create well-being for all.
